Decision came before handing over the charge of Karnataka's chief minister to Jagdish Shettar
(BJP changed its name to BSyP (BS Yeddyurappa Party) from earlier BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) before BS Yeddyurappa asked the party high command to do so.
"It is better to learn from past mistakes. We chose not to listen to this old man (BS Yeddyurappa) earlier, but now we have to induct Jagdish Shettar as the Chief Minister of Karnataka. Now it is better that we should change the name of our party before this guy asks us to do that," said erstwhile BJP and now BSyP President Nitin Gadkari.)
